The starting price for Livspace pooja units in October, 2026 is approximately ₹18,000–₹22,000* for basic models with storage, with mid-range and designer options ranging from ₹30,000* to ₹50,000*. Pricing varies based on size, material (such as wood, marble, glass), door style, and additional features like lighting or carved panels.

The latest trends in pooja room design include wall-mounted mandirs, CNC-cut jaali panels, warm LED backlighting, and marble or veneer finishes. Modern designs focus on blending spirituality with contemporary aesthetics — compact, clutter-free, and elegant with brass or gold accents.

A compact pooja setup can fit comfortably within 2x3 feet, while a full pooja room may require 4x6 feet or more. Ensure at least 12–18 inches (≈30–45 cm) clearance in front for comfortable seating or standing during rituals. For smaller spaces, wall-mounted pooja units work beautifully.

The most popular materials are teakwood, plywood, and MDF with veneer or laminate finishes. For a luxurious touch, marble and back-painted glass panels are ideal. Use brass or gold-plated accents for a traditional finish, and ensure fire-resistant laminates for diya zones.

Use warm white LED lighting (2700K–3000K) for a soft, calming glow. Combine recessed ceiling lights, spotlights for idols, and backlit panels for ambience. Avoid harsh fluorescent lighting to maintain a serene atmosphere.

Opt for corner units, floating wall-mounted mandirs, or niche-built pooja cabinets. Use light-colored laminates or marble, and add CNC jaali panels for a decorative yet airy look. Compact drawers can store daily pooja items efficiently.

According to Vastu Shastra, the Northeast (Ishan Kon) corner is ideal for a pooja room. Alternatively, the East or North direction is also considered auspicious. Avoid placing pooja units near bathrooms or under staircases.
