There is a difference between dining and eating. Dining is an art. And when you are dedicated to make every meal an impeccable work of art, you’ve got to do it like the stars. Have you ever wondered how celebrities dine at home? Maybe we could give you a sneak peek into some of your favourite celebrity dining rooms. We got inspired and took dining room ideas from the likes of Huma, Twinkle and so on, and recreated them just for you. What’s more? There’s a tip for everyone who wants to design theirs like them!
Celebrity dining room ideas #1: Twinkle Khanna
Just like their personalities, Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar’s dining room is eclectic to the hilt. Marked by statement lights, upholstered chairs and lots of greenery, this dining room looks colourful yet sophisticated. A sideboard with contemporary painting on the same wall adds the right amount of drama to this space.
Get the look: Add planters in one corner of your dining room and get fully upholstered chairs for your dining table. Accessorise with flowers as the centrepiece for the table.
Celebrity dining room ideas #2: John Abraham
John Abraham is a nature lover and he has filled his home with natural interiors. So, if you share the same philosophy like him, you must get a salvaged wood dining table set for your dining room. Take a look at the rough-hewn dining table set consisting of three stools, a bench and a fluid design table. We love how rustic and strong this space looks, just like our hero!
Get the look: To recreate this eco-friendly setting, opt for timber that doesn’t contribute to loss of biodiversity, such as, bamboo, pine and oak.
Celebrity dining room ideas #3: Masaba Gupta
Masaba and Neena Gupta’s home is filled with plain white walls and lots of antique furniture which the mother-daughter duo love refurbishing together. The dining room is where you can spot them enjoying a good laugh over some tasty food. This all-white dining room comes alive with the statement painting by a famous artist. We also love the industrial chandelier adding character to this space.
Get the look: You too can put up your favourite piece of art on the wall and get pristine white chairs for your dining table to get this look. Add a refurbished wooden crockery unit and you’re done!
Celebrity dining room ideas #4: Huma Qureshi
Huma Qureshi and her brother love the look of distressed furniture and you can spot plenty of it in their Mumbai home. You can spot warm wooden finishes in their dining room which is marked by upholstered and solid wood chairs. There is an artsy pop in the fabric and it brings so much variety to this space. Do not miss the pretty area rug and the wall painting.
Get the look: You can steal elements from Huma’s dining room and recreate your own at home. Pick a nice wallpaper and add wall shelves for decor and recipe books. Do not forget to add that pop of colour to your dining chairs.
